Inquisitor Lord (Lady?)
I painted this lady up in time for the Wamp Kingdom Death contest, which is a nice bonus.
Also, I think this pic is a bit better than the one I submitted for the contest, unfortunately.
This is a concept that I had in my head ever since I first laid eyes on this model. I very much wanted to keep the feel of the original true, but only really play GW games.
She's still very much a darkly imperious great game hunter, just in the form of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Lord (Lady?).
As a radical, she's surrounded in xenos artifacts (like the Dark Eldar boots that she wears, which exude darkness; the Demiurgi lifting claw making her rifle practically weightless; and the Hrudian cold warp-iron tunnel-gate lock built into her rifle, whose key hangs at her hip). Her little slave girl is meant to be a young Eldar Warlock stripped, branded with hexagrammic wards, and broken to the Inquisitor's Will.
The skull hanging from her hip is meant to be the crystal skull of an Eldar Farseer, one of her prized trophies from a successful hunt.
I started on the concepts for her right before the contest was announced as an NPC in a 40k campaign I'm running for my crew. The campaign takes place on an Imperial Shrineworld, hence the bases.
I hope you guys like it!

Blood Angels Drop Pod
So, while working on my Blood Angels army I decided I needed some drop pods. Looking at them and their basically tear drop shape got my brain thinking again. SpaceMarines are pretty fanatical, and Blood Angels seem almost more so, what with their naming everything "Blood" something or other. I decided that for my own drop pods "basically" tear drop shaped wasn't blatant enough.
The following is the prototype for my Blood Angels drop pods (or should I say Blood Pods). There's a few things I've already noticed that need work (like putting a cover over the foam on the supports).
Also, it's not painted.. just primed red. The pod has the same height/ width/ length of the standard GW pod.
